On this page
Before you read: no supplement cures herpes, and none has been proven to work like antiviral medicine. If you get frequent outbreaks, see a doctor first — daily antiviral tablets have the strongest evidence (MedlinePlus). This page is for adults who have done that and still want to try a supplement.

How we compared them
We did not test these products on people, and we don’t publish made-up “results.” We checked what you can verify before buying:
- Disclosure: does the seller publish the ingredients and amounts?
- Real cost: the minimum you must spend and the price per bottle.
- Refund rules: when the clock starts, whether opened bottles count, and who pays postage.
- Claims: does the site suggest a cure? (Herpes has no cure.)
Herpafend
What it is: capsules, two every night before bed, according to the official FAQ. The site names herpes (HSV-1 and HSV-2) directly.
Strong points
- The refund clock starts at delivery, and opened bottles are accepted.
- Lowest price per bottle we found: $49 on the 6-bottle package, with free US shipping.
- One-time payment, no subscription (official FAQ, checked October 17, 2026).
- The seller warns that copies sold on Amazon and eBay are counterfeit, and sells only on herpafend.com.
Weak points
- No ingredient list on the sales page — just “a blend of natural ingredients.”
- No single-bottle option: the minimum is 2 bottles for $158, plus shipping.
- The headline promises to “stop herpes outbreaks,” and the page uses countdown timers and stock alerts.
- Shipping is not refunded, and you pay to send bottles back.

Forti Prime
What it is: capsules sold for “an outbreak-free life” (the page also mentions a dropper, so the form is unclear). The site does not use the word herpes.
Strong points
- Some ingredients are named: graviola, green tea, Panax ginseng, vitamin C, vitamin E, selenium, olive leaf and an “Essiac tea complex,” plus “more.” Amounts are not shown.
- You can try one bottle for $69 with free US shipping.
- The page says it is made in the USA in a GMP-certified facility (a claim we can’t verify).
Weak points
- No amounts, so you can’t compare doses or check them with your doctor.
- The refund clock starts at shipping, not delivery, and you must return all bottles. You pay return postage.
- The page also says it supports “the health of your hearing,” which doesn’t match its outbreak message. That makes it hard to know what the product is really for.
- The 3- and 6-bottle prices were not shown in the page text when we checked.
Forti Prime is sold on its official website, thefortiprime.com.
Which one should you choose?
- You want to spend as little as possible to try one: Forti Prime ($69, one bottle).
- You want to see at least some ingredients first: Forti Prime.
- You plan a long trial and want the lowest cost per bottle, with a refund that accepts opened bottles: Herpafend (6 bottles, $49 each).
- You take medicine, are pregnant or breastfeeding, or are buying for a child: don’t buy either until a doctor has seen the full label.
Why we don’t list Tonic Greens
Tonic Greens is also promoted for herpes. When we checked its sales material, a testimonial suggested the virus was gone. Herpes has no cure, so we don’t recommend products marketed that way.
Frequently asked questions
What is the best supplement for cold sores? No supplement has strong evidence. The best-studied natural option for a cold sore is a propolis lip cream, not a capsule — see natural remedies for herpes.
Does L-lysine help? Only weakly, and not at low doses. Read L-lysine for cold sores.
Can I take these with antiviral medicine? Ask your doctor or pharmacist and show them the label. Neither site discusses drug interactions.
